Insulating Glass
Insulating glass, also known as double-paned or triple-paned glass, is a type of glazing that is commonly used in residential and commercial buildings. The purpose of insulating glass is to improve the energy efficiency of a building by reducing heat transfer through the windows.
Insulating glass consists of two or more panes of glass that are separated by a spacer, which is a material that acts as a barrier to prevent air flow. The spacer is usually made of aluminum or a composite material and is filled with a gas, such as argon, which enhances the insulation properties of the glass.
